36 weeks and 2 days

Another doctor's office visit day! Dr. P checked my cervix today, 2 centimeters dilated, 50% effaced and Peyton's head is really low just barely above my cervix. We scheduled our induction for Friday, April 11th, as long as he doesn't decide to make his appearance sooner! I'm so excited and ready to hold him in my arms instead of carrying him around in my belly! This weekend is going to be a cleaning weekend and by next week I want the house to be ready for his arrival! I go to the doctor next Tuesday to find out if I have progressed any further.
Austyn told Tammy (Wes' mom) on Sunday that when the baby gets here, we are going to send him to live at her house. When I asked her about it, she said that she doesn't want to EVER have to change poopie diapers, so she doesn't want Peyton here! :) I love 5 year old thoughts! I'm really curious to see how she handles having someone else taking "her" time!

35 Week Belly and Sono Pics

So we finally got around to taking a couple pictures of this swollen bump in my midsection :) Also, these are the pictures from the sonogram last Monday, we had to take pictures of the pictures b/c our scanner doesn't connect to our laptop. Doesn't make much sense huh! Anyway, all is going well as we anxiously await Peyton's arrival.

April 17th

We went to the doctor for my second sonogram and found out everything looks great. The sono tech said that he is 5lbs 6oz and has a full head of hair! Now we just wonder what color that hair is! They changed his due date to April 17Th, but we are still looking at induction on the 11Th if he hasn't decided to make his appearance by then. The doctor reviewed the pictures and said that everything looks perfect, placenta is still growing and intact, baby looks good, healthy and is growing just as he should. I asked him about my weight again (just like every week)and got the same answer as always. He keeps telling me not to worry, as long as Peyton is growing my weight is of no concern. I was down almost another pound this week, so I've now gained 9 lbs since my 8 week appointment. Not too bad, but I do still have 5 more weeks to go! I am going to try to teach myself how to scan pictures in at work on the scanner and will attempt to put the newest sonogram pictures up so you can see his chubby cheeks and all that hair!
